Upload Season 1 – What? Why? Who? When? How? Which?
Season 1 of upload has ended and we can not be more pleased that what fanatics and viewers have seen so far. There is so much thirst now for Upload Season 2 as we wait till 2021, May. During the season 1 of this tv series, a lot of questions and theories have been built around it, creating more suspense. As we wait for season 2 of upload let’s share a few thoughts and theories so far on upload. Questions upon questions regarding the plots, characters, episodes and setting. Did Ingrid Kill Nathan or Save Him? – Upload Season 1
When Nathan breaks up with Ingrid and tells she he’s moving to 2Gig status, Ingrid is devastated and tells Nathan he can’t leave Lakeview because people want him out of the way because of what he knows. She can only protect him if she’s the owner of his scans at Lakeview. If Ingrid is telling the truth, why doesn’t she just tell Nathan who tried to destroy him? Could it be that they are close to her? Or was she lying and killed Nathan just so she could control him forever in Lakeview?
Ingrid leaves and confronts her father, revealing that maybe he was the one who tried to kill Nathan. Ingrid’s father, angry at Ingrid, says ‘the gloves are off’. what does that mean? Is that code for something he’s planning in the next episode? The gloves are off? This could mean a lot but season 2 of Upload will reveal a lot to us we wait May 2021.
Did Jamie sell the company to FREEYOND? – Upload Season 1
In the beginning of upload episode 9, Nora and her friend are walking down a lane when they see a televised ad about Freeyond, a new virtual reality where Uploads can build their own lives including their houses. Nora tells her friend and another woman that someone she knows ( and the person Nora was talking about was Nathan) had a similar concept he was pushing. Is this the producers’ way of informing us the viewers that Jamie sold the company and Nathan’s idea to Freeyond and it’s already in development? Or are they producers leading us on a wild goose choose? There is a lot revolving around the idea that Nathan and Jamie were building as well as the company Freeyond. Upload Tv series has really taken a trend where viewers can’t easily guess or predict the next move.
Luke is Not as Dumb as We Think; He just acts goofy – Upload Season 1
When Nathan confides in Luke about his plan to break up with Ingrid while she pays for Lakeview for him, Luke surprisingly questions Nathan whether he’s thought into his plan well. Maybe Luke isn’t just the goofy dumb guy we know but also has more depth to him? Or is he trying to stop his best friend from making a mistake that would cost him Lakeview and cost Luke their friendship? We can say Luke is lonely and is not willing to let his new friend Nathan leave his sight.
Is Byron Falling In Love with Nora? – Upload Season 1
When Nora’s boss threatens to expose Nora’s relationship with Nathan and Nora calls Byron to escort her to the winter event at work, Byron accepts with glee. This is surprising in the earlier episodes, Byron seemed like a narcissistic guy who was always looking out for himself and only like Nora for the sex. Could he be falling for Nora? Marvytvseries also noted that when Nora called Byron, he was on the dating site swiping through profiles. Maybe he’s the kind of guy to play both fields until he’s sure of where he belongs. Upon looking very well into episode 9 of upload Tv series before the egg hung and update Byron abruptly stops whatever he was doing to make it up to Nora. Let’s put this in reality, if someone does not mean so much to you, you will never halt what you have at hand and attend to that individual. So here, this is the case of Byron and Nora; He takes no hesitation to be there for Nora during the winter event.
Aleesha has a college degree, then what on earth is she doing working for Horizen? – Upload episode 9
During the egg hunt, Aleesha pressures Luke to find the egg fast and win the prizes for both of them as she still owes student loans from Pence University. If Aleesha is a college graduate, why is she having a low level work with Horizen? Could it mean that in 2033, with all the latest technology and advancements, unemployment has soared higher because machines can do everything? That is a point, we need to closely look at or we should take it as if, there is less reality on that particular scene? What is your thought?
