Episode of 5 of squid game begins with team 4 picking a different strategy to throw off the opponent. Their team developed more plans while trying to survive in this game. They win the game and leaving Gi-hun dangling over the edge. The strategy works, as team 5 falls behind while team 4 emerges victorious.

In the last minute of squid game episode 4, the last set was left which was Gi-hun group to finish their tag of war game.

(Usually anytime a player died the body is placed in a casket and later placed in an incinerator)While Gi-hun and his squad return to the dormitory, the guards we saw with player 111 continue to pursue their own agenda. They continue to fool the front man and other supervisory personnel. They designate a certain casket with a red cross and the casket is taken to a hidden compartment where we witness four malfunctioning guards, guard 28 and guard 29 and two others. Now that Joon-ho is guard 29, he must assume his responsibilities.

Back in the dormitory, as a result of the previous night’s attack, numerous factions, including Gi-hun’s,
put up barriers with the mattresses in the dormitory. Now, player 111, who was a doctor in the real
world, was assisting the defected guards in ferrying organs from the dead bodies of terminated players.
The organs are packaged and given over to guards 28 and 29 as they exit the room. After departing,
player 111 was left with two guards; he begins to lose faith in the guards since they refuse to reveal the
next game to him. In his terror, he murders one of the guards and flees to one of the playgrounds. He
was followed by the other guard who later removed his mask and revealed his identity to player 111,
who was seen by the front man in various CCTV footages.

The front man gets a hint of what’s going on arrives and shoots the guard including player 111 so it may
serve as a warning to the others.
Meanwhile, the identity of Joon-ho is revealed to guard 28. He feels the game is to blame for his
brother’s death, despite the fact that guard 28 attempts to convince him differently. Joon-ho kills guard
28 and proceeds to a specific chamber which we might presume to be the Front man’s quarters.
With the occurring activities, the Front man is convinced there is an infiltrator in the game premises and
he will do anything in his power to stop him.

At the last minute of squid game episode 5, Joon-ho begins to ransack all the archive files. He had realized this game is not a new game. And since he had not seen his own brother for years he begins to search the year he went missing. Lo and behold, Joon-ho finds his brother in one of the archives labeled 1995 list of winners.
