Squid Game Episode 2 Recap- Season 1
Season 1 Episode 1 of squid game was very intense with so much drama, suspense and weary in the eyes of the characters. each and everyone is trying so hard to clear of debts and get their lives back on track but the thought of dying there outweighed their joy after seeing the money and realizing the rules.
They were given a chance to choose, whether to stay or leave. Should majority vote to stay, the rest can go home and that majority can continue the game. but unfortunately they were all panicking. At the end, the majority voted to go home.
In Squid game season 1 episode 2, every participants of the game was dropped off at their various vicinity. Player 456 (known as Seong Gi-hun) tried to report the game organizers to the police, but his complaint landed on rocks because everything sounded untrue to the police.
Player 218 (known as Cho Sang-woo) wanted to check up on his mum but he couldn’t. He had already lied to the mum about travelling to the USA to work. He was in so much debt that he used his parent’s house and mother’s shop as collateral. His life and that of the rest of the family are on the line.
Other players had to go back to chase for their little money, others had to thrive and keep their hopes up. One way or the other, some of the players knew they had to go back.
This was their chance to have a better life. For some, they did not care about how they can win the money. This episode showed greed and so much pain in the eyes of the players.
All players were having rare times and couldn’t stand the debts they were soaked in so they considered the game to be potent if they were going to survive their debts and pay it off in full. And fortunately for them they received an invitation to get back in the game and play, which majority of them oblige and minority declined
