Squid Game Episode 8 Review

This is a review of the now trending Netflix drama tv series. Episode 8 of squid game opens with the three surviving candidates making their way back to the dormitories. Joon-ho upon his escape, arrives at an island, where he flees the Front Man, who is still hunting him.

It’s the shortest episode of Squid Game by a wide margin, but the show’s eighth installment, “Front Man,” is long on deaths that matter. With only one episode remaining, perhaps that was to be expected. Every remaining death counts, because every remaining character is a major one

Joon-Ho recognizes he’s in trouble and calls the Chief, instructing him to follow his signal and arrive at the island
with backup since he was a detective. After a while of running, Joon-hu falls into difficulties when he encounters the front man and his guards near the edge of a cliff.
Gi-hun and Sang-woo, on the other hand, were at odds after Sang-woo shoved a guy to his death in the
previous game. The matter swiftly escalates since each of them took it personally. In the span of a few
days, the two had become fierce enemies.
Sae-byek was severely hurt when the glass bridge exploded after the previous game, unnoticed to Gi-hun and Sang-woo, she goes to the restroom to treat her injury. Guards stop by to congratulate the remaining 3 contestants for making it to the finals.

Squid Game Season 1 Episode 8 Review
The three participants are led to a room where they are allocated seats at a table and food is provided.
They dine in quiet, and afterward, each of them silently takes knives from the table for future use. They returned to their dorm to prepare for the last game.
Joon-ho, who has been besieged at the cliff by the front man and his guards, is terrified since he has no
way out. The front man takes off his mask, and Joon-ho is taken aback when he realizes the front man is
his missing brother. The Front man shoots Joon-ho quickly, and he goes off the cliff.

Few minutes later, the remaining players began to sleep, Gi-hun secretly tries to stab and murder Sang-woo but is prevented by Sae-byek. With the injuries incurred in the last game, Sae-byek falls unconscious. Gi-hun panics and runs to the dorm doors, begging with the guards to help rescue Sae-byek. The door suddenly opens, and the guards walk in carrying a casket. Gi-hun not understanding the situation realizes Sang-Woo took advantage of Sae-byek’s weakness and slit her throat.
The episode ends with the guards carrying Sae-byeks body away
